Nos tendríamos que remontar siete años atrás, y llegar al año 2004, a la sexta edición del FEFF, para encontrar el inicio de la relación que nos une con uno de los festivales de cine asiáticos más longevo, divertido y acogedor de los que se celebran en la geografía europea a lo largo del año.Aquel año conocimos a su directora Sabrinna Baracetti, una persona enérgica y amante del cine de Hong Kong, que junto a un equipo joven y entusiasta, son capaces de sacar adelante un proyecto cultural que año a año ha ido ganando un prestigio (son numerosos los medios especializados, directores o actores asiáticos que acuden anualmente a esta cita) que han hecho de él uno de los festivales asiáticos de referencia mundial.
En esa sexta edición del FEFF descubrimos títulos que poco a poco irían sonando tanto al aficionado, como a los distribuidores de nuestro país: El Ocaso del Samurai del japonés Yoji Yamada, las coreanas Lazos de Guerra (Taegugki) de Kang Je-hyu, y Legend of the Evil Lake, o la segunda y la tercera parte del thriller hongkonés que tan bien conoce Martin Scorssese, Infernal Affairs... Una edición donde confirmamos el interés del público por una heterogénea programación que equilibra su selección ofreciéndonos un paseo por los títulos más recientes, clásicos imprescindibles, obras maestras y películas eminentemente comerciales, consiguiendo un éxito de asistencia a las sesiones enTeatro Nuovo y los cines del Visionario.
Paso a paso el FEFF ha llegado a su 13ª edición. Quedan tan sólo veinte días para que se abra el telón de esta nueva edición, y hoy miércoles es el día escogido por el festival para desvelarnos sus cartas, para presentarnos su programación. Sin más preámbulos, nos trasladamos al norte de Italia, al pie de los Dolomitas.
